Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the conversion of a Grade II listed building in Manchester, with a project value of £30 million (Design & Build). The role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of heritage and listed building regulations, and the ability to manage complex construction challenges. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the cut & carve conversion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Collaborate with architects, heritage consultants, and conservation officers to ensure compliance with listed building regulations. Lead a multidisciplinary team including subcontractors, engineers, and planners. Manage client and stakeholder relationships, providing regular progress updates and mitigating risks. Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to on site. Conduct regular site inspections, quality control checks, and coordinate project documentation. Qualifications & Experience: Proven track record managing £20M construction projects, particularly with listed or heritage buildings. Extensive knowledge of construction methods, planning regulations, and heritage conservation. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Relevant qualifications in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (e.g., CIOB, RICS). Experience withD&B Contracts highly desirable
