Description

Role Summary: The Site Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of utility-scale photovoltaic solar project sites across the UK. This role involves overseeing on-site operations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with Health and Safety standards. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure projects meet specifications and quality standards. - Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain project timelines. - Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and company policies. - Monitor site progress and report to the Project Manager on any issues or delays. - Manage site documentation, including daily logs, safety reports, and quality control records. - Oversee the implementation of site-specific risk assessments and method statements. - Conduct regular site inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken when needed. - Maintain good communication with the Project Manager and other stakeholders. Essential Criteria: - 4-6 years' experience in site management, particularly in EPC construction. - Strong understanding of construction processes and Health and Safety regulations. - Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site teams. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Willingness to travel and a clean UK driving licence. Desirable Criteria: - SMSTS certification or equivalent. - Experience in photovoltaic solar projects.
