Role/Responsibilities: The company seeks a Quantity Surveyor to contribute to the commercial aspects of their business from their Central London office. Prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall, ceilings, partitions, and other interior works. Develop and manage budgets for construction projects, ensuring costs are controlled and within the agreed budget. Evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project specifications. Manage project cash flow, ensuring timely payments to subcontractors and suppliers. Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts, ensuring timely invoicing and recovery of project costs. Produce regular cost reports for senior management, detailing current financial performance, potential risks, and projections for project completion. Prepare and agree on final accounts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Requirements: Prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction is essential. Specific experience in drylining, ceilings, and partitions is required. A degree in construction or an HNC is preferred but not essential. Must have a flexible and positive attitude. Proficiency with computers and a willingness to develop in the role is necessary. Salary & Benefits: Offering up to £60k, depending on experience and qualifications.
