Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor (mechanically biased) Contract or Permanent - 12 months £500 a day (outside IR35) / £85-90k Canary Wharf We're looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong mechanical background for a minimum 12 month fixed term contract on a project in Canary Wharf. The successful candidate will have a strong man contractor or specialist M&E subcontractor background and can expect their duties and responsibilities to include - • Preparation of the mechanical element of the monthly application, site walkaround with the GC and consultant. • Measurement & pricing of variations, submission and agreement with the GC. • Issue of early warning notices in conjunction with the Project Team. • Subcontractor liabilities of mechanical packages. • Review and certification of Mechanical Subcontractor Applications including the Mechanical CAD company, using both a mix of Payapps & COINS. • Review of subcontractor variations and meeting attendance. • Placement of subcontract orders.
