Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor Location: Huntingdon Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 DOE Package Company Type: Regional Groundworks Contractor Focus: Groundworks Packages for Housebuilders and Contractors This is an excellent opportunity for you to kickstart your career in quantity surveying and develop your skills while working on a range of groundworks packages across the Midlands. In this role, you will assist the quantity surveying team with tasks such as cost estimation, contract administration, and preparing financial reports. You will gain hands-on experience in managing the financial aspects of groundworks projects, learning from senior team members, and gradually taking on more responsibilities. You should have a relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field, or some experience in a similar role. A proactive attitude, strong numerical skills, and the willingness to learn are essential. This position offers a salary of £25,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience) plus a comprehensive package, including a car allowance, pension, and holiday.
