Managing Quantity Surveyor A major highways project with a Tier 1 main contractor who are seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor in Winchester. The main contractor is one of the leading engineering companies in the UK specialising in highways projects and currently turning over more than £600m per annum. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join a leading contractor on an extraordinary project. Responsibilities (but not limited to) for Managing Quantity Surveyor: Raise early warning notices to the client and subcontractors Identify, notify and price compensation events Produce or support the production of CVRs. Manage subcontractors from tender enquiries to final accounts Review subcontract quotations and place subcontract orders Assess and pay subcontract applications You will be responsible for preparing applications for payment for assigned work packages Agreeing on final accounts with clients and subcontractors. Working closely with the commercial lead on day-to-day duties on the site. Requirements for Managing Quantity Surveyor: Experience in a management role within a commercial team (Desirable) Highways experience or a similar Sector Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar Full right to work in the UK.
