Site Manager required for County Antrim based fit out company. Travel required for this role Your new company Recruiting a Site Manager for one of Northern Ireland’s most recognised Fit Out Contractors based in County Antrim.This employer has many blue chip and recognisable clients across the UK, ROI and N.I. and are currently seeking to bolster their strong team. With a turnover of circa £30million and staff headcount in excess of 70 direct, this employer is an award-winning contractor who has experienced continued growth.With a stable management team in place, this company has an excellent operational model, and each Site Manager takes responsibility for their own jobs, which can range in value from £100k to £4million. Specialising in retail, hospitality and heritage works, you will join a successful company who reward their staff with excellent packages and the opportunity to develop. Your new role As Site Manager, you will typically take control of 1 site at a time and oversee the full fit out scope of works, predominantly focusing on restaurants and heritage jobs. Working as part of a management team, you’ll be expected to oversee the progress of the project from inception to completion. Some duties will include: Oversee the day-to-day direction of the entire project or a specific stage within it to ensure it meets expectations and deadlines throughout the UK and Ireland Ensure Health & Safety is always maintained as well as adjusting timelines based on the project’s progress, and regularly communicate project goals to on-site employees. Regularly review project progress to assess how closely it’s proceeding to the projected timeline. Manage onsite labour and specialist trades to ensure quality is achieved throughout the course of the build. Liaises with all internal and external stakeholders including subcontractors and clients while ensuring the quality delivery of the project. What you need to succeed To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience overseeing fit out projects in a Site Management capacity, specifically finishing projects to a high-quality standard. You will hold relevant tickets (e.g. SMSTS / SSSTS / CSCS / NVQ) as well as possessing a keen eye for detail whilst upholding high standards throughout the programme of works. This contractor will be open to candidates coming from traditional trade backgrounds, with preference to those with Joinery experience. You will also need to be willing to travel throughout the UK & Ireland and travel on a weekly basis, with occasions being 2 weekly depending on the nature of the work.
