Job Title: Assistant Site Manager Location: East Midlands, Derbyshire, Derby Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Construction Salary: £230 - £250 Per day Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Driving Licence A Quality focused House Builder with a name in the industry for their award-winning projects is looking for an Assistant Site Manager to join on a temp to perm basis. The site is located in Derbyshire and consists of traditional new build houses. Job Duties: Assist the Site Manager in overseeing daily operations on the construction site Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly followed Coordinate and manage subcontractors and construction workers Monitor progress and quality of work on-site Assist in resolving any issues or delays that may arise Keep accurate records of all activities and report to the Site Manager Required Qualifications: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) First Aid Certification Valid Driving Licence Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Relevant degree or equivalent experience in construction management Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications: Additional health and safety certifications Experience with traditional new build houses Previous experience working with a quality-focused house builder Working Conditions: Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as required Work primarily on-site in Derbyshire If you are interested in hearing more about this opportunity, call Chloe on (phone number removed)
