Roles Available: Interior Design and Exterior Design Salary: £24,327 Contract: 12 month placement Start Date: August 2025 Location: Pyms Lane, Crewe, CW1 3PL, mainly onsite with some flexible hybrid working Are you a creative thinker with a passion for driving innovation? We will review applications for all suitable positions. Interior Design: Our team is responsible for designing the interiors for our future Bentleys. In this role you will develop the skills necessary to design automotive interiors. You’ll work alongside and be mentored by some of the best designers in the industry. They’ll help you to communicate your initial ideas through sketch work, build digital 3D models, work with engineering and project teams to develop the design work to the right requirements, review your work in VR and with physical properties. Your main responsibilities include; Research into future design trends in the automotive industry Contributing interior design ideas and design proposals for our future models Deliver 2D sketch work and Photoshop illustrations to communicate your ideas Build 3D sketch models of your designs and work with the CAD team to develop these further Exterior Design: Our team is responsible for designing the exteriors for all future Bentleys. Within this role you will gain invaluable experience supporting the creation of our future vision for the designs of our cars. Working alongside industry leading experts you will create digital and physical models of our exteriors and get a real insight into the thinking that underpins our design process. Your main responsibilities include; Collaborate with the exterior design team and members of the wider business to support the design process Contributing exterior design ideas and design proposals for our future models Deliver 2D sketch work and Photoshop illustrations to communicate your ideas Build 3D sketch models of your designs and work with the CAD team to develop these further About The Function The Interior and Exterior Industrial Placements sit within the wider Design function. Design at Bentley means working on a live project, making a difference to the actual product from day one. Ours is an intimate collaborative studio environment, and our creative culture radiates throughout the business. The Design team is responsible for creating everything from the initial sketch to the final production design, including exterior and interior design, UX and colour, materials and finish. Education: The successful candidates will be on track to achieve a 2:1 in the following degree subjects: Automotive and Transport Design, Automotive Interior Design or Car Design.
