Leading Construction Business Requires Full Project Lifecycle Project Manager to Join their Business Your new company Our client are a leading construction and property business operating across the United Kingdom. They are proud of their relationships with key public sector clients and this is demonstrated by their presence on key procurement frameworks in Scotland and beyond. One of their strategic teams is now seeking to appoint a Project Manager whose key responsibility will be to deliver projects on behalf of one of these key frameworks. Your new role Based in their Central Belt head office and with the opportunity to work in a hybrid manner, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects all the way from conception and design to commercial close. Working across multiple stakeholders, you will be the key driver of the progress of these projects from design to site and beyond, ensuring all procurement, operational and regulatory activities are occurring on time and in line with these these frameworks statutory requirements. This role is not the physical delivery of the project onsite but a more client-side and strategic role where your construction knowledge, professionalism and communication skills will come to the fore. You will have a solid understanding of the design and construction process, and you will utilise this knowledge in this role. What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate would be from a construction management or design background with a strong understanding of how publicly funded projects are procurement and delivered. Perhaps you will have previous experience of working on the client side for a reputable organisation or consultancy and are now seeking a further challenge within a large dynamic construction organisation. For the right candidate, this is an interesting and stimulating role which will put you at the centre of some of the largest and most exciting projects being built in Scotland, while taking you away from the grind of operational delivery of projects.
