Danny Sullivan Group are searching for a Senior Site Manager for a project based in Newcastle to work on a permanent basis for a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor. The role is to oversee large-scale concrete repair to main roads in central Newcastle. The ideal candidate for this role would be an individual with strong NEC4 knowledge and the ability to strongly and successfully deliver a programme. Responsibilities: Overseeing and managing on-site workers. Preparing relevant documentation e.g. reports. Supervising activity that occurs on site. Managing subcontractors. Monitoring and tracking project progress, to ensure project delivery is successful. Minimizing any potential risks and working on how to avoid them. Ensure projects are carried out and worked on within policies and procedures. Guaranteeing work is carried out collaboratively in line with Health & Safety procedures. Understanding of contract and financial management to support the Project Manager. Experience/Qualifications: Concrete repair and joint replacement experience. Tier 1 Civils experience (desirable). Strong NEC4 knowledge. Solid commercial expertise. Marine experience (advantageous). This is an excellent long-term opportunity to manage an on-site team of subcontractors and to ensure project delivery is successful.
