Description
Civils contractor working on multi-utility projects in London requires a Quantity Surveyor with previous experience in the utilities sector, as well as working with JCT contracts. Role: Manage contractual and financial aspects of civils construction works in the utilities sector Prepare monthly payment applications Negotiate and prepare contractual variations Measure and value site works Prepare tender documentation Dispute resolution Track design changes and ensure variations are reported Prepare sub-contracts Assess sub-contractor applications Review project progress against programme of works Budgetary control of projects Monthly CVRs Forecasting project costs to completion Prepare Early Warning Notices (EWNs) and Compensation Events (CEs) Offer contract support to Project Managers Monitor cash flow and income forecasts Assess and deal with commercial opportunities and risks Review client contracts Experience: Background as a Quantity Surveyor working in the HV, power distribution, multi-utilities or highways sectors Experience of pre and post-contract works Knowledge and experience of NEC3 and JCT contracts Strong written and verbal communication skills Apply to Andrew Snelgrove at Deploy.
