Moston is proud to represent our leading client in their search for a Managing Quantity Surveyor (MQS) to join their dynamic team. This role is essential in promoting a culture of effective risk and opportunity management across key project teams. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to support project delivery through strategic oversight and hands-on guidance of commercial aspects within project sections. Key Responsibilities: Lead risk and opportunity management initiatives to foster a proactive risk management culture within delivery and management teams. Take ownership of tasks and processes, exercising broad autonomy and professional judgement while being accountable for outcomes. Provide strategic guidance to the team, supporting and mentoring colleagues in commercial management tasks. Collaborate with Project Managers and Commercial Managers to oversee and manage commercial elements, ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in quantity surveying with a focus on risk and opportunity management. Excellent NEC experience Strong commercial acumen and ability to exercise autonomy within broad operational parameters. Demonstrated experience leading teams and supporting project-based commercial functions.
