Site Manager | Retail, Leisure and Education Nationwide Start Sep / Oct 2024 This independent, nationwide and chartered contractor has an exceptional name in the construction industry. They are looking to expand their team with the addition of an experienced site manager. Their client base is solid, and includes the likes of Amazon, CoOp, Asda, Morrison's, Tesco, Ikea and Primark through to colleges and universities. Retail started as their core work but the work stream also now includes education and leisure projects. The order book is currently full. Their ideal person would be described as a builder' who has also covered retail. Their projects range from £0.5m - £6m and could be resurfacing works to a van centre, to live store fit-out or indeed the refurb of a storage facility. It's very diverse. Any Site Manager applying for this role would need to: ·Demonstrate time sent with previous employers (they like loyalty and commitment). ·Have good technical building knowledge as well as refurb / fit-out experience ·Show some experience in the retail sector ·Be client facing, candid, a good communicator and always looking to improve ·Be willing to work nationwide.
