Description

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Farnham Salary: Up to £70,000 Do you have a strong background in High End Residential projects and expertise in leading bespoke projects for Private Clients? Our client, a leading contractor in the private client residential sector, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team for a significant £5 million project in Woking. This role involves a flexible work arrangement between site, office and home and a long-term pipeline of local work in the South of England. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee all financial aspects of the project. Handle Extensions of Time (EOTs) applications. Administer Liquidated Damages (LADs) to cover costs for project delays. Issue and manage Variation Orders (VOs) for changes in the scope of work. Conduct Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) to compare actual costs with budgeted costs, identify discrepancies, and recommend adjustments. Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to ensure a smooth transition and continued project success. Ideal requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within High End Residential projects. Strong knowledge of EOTs, LADs, VOs, and CVRs. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
