The commencement of the first phase of the £175m regeneration of The Ledbury Estate in Peckham has created a vacancy for a main contractor’s Site Manager who will be given the opportunity to see the development through from cradle to grave with management responsibility for activities from piling and RC frame to façade and finishes. The successful candidate will be given 80 units to deliver in two blocks, respectively 12 and 14 stories in height. The opportunity; Leading, cradle to grave, the delivery of an environmentally sensitive development built for local residents. Excellent career prospects on further, social and affordable developments with,one of the capital’s largest family owned housebuilder. Candidate essentials; Degree, HNC or NVQ7 qualified. SMSTS and Black CSCS Card. Evidence of successful career progression with Tier One or Two Main Contractors on mid rise or high rise, new build developments. Ability to follow and update a construction programme on Asta Powerproject. Experience of supervising trades contractors and ensuring health & safety compliance. With interviews available from w/c 9th September, employment commencement is planned for late September / early October and salary is a competitive £60k to £70k car allowance pension package
