My client based within the East Midlands are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor who has a background within Capital Works (solely housing stock). The ideal candidate will support the Capital Works Manager to oversee the capital investment requirements for their housing stock, to maintain decent & safe living standards for all tenants and leaseholders. Skills/Experience/Requirements Previously worked as a Quantity Surveyor within a Local Authority/Social Housing setting. Knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract is essential. Managing tender procedures, tender assessments, and contract documents. Experience of working on all Capital Works Projects: Kitchen & Bathrooms. Window Replacements. Electrics & Re-wires. The client is ideally looking for an immediate start. Key Details Working Arrangements : In Office, 5 days p/w - not hybrid/remote. Rate : £negotiable DOE (Inside IR35). Contract Length : 6 Months rolling.
