Town Planner Chelmsford HR 11629 Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience Due to continued expansion, this established real estate and planning consultancy are urgently looking to appoint a Town Planner to work as part of their established Essex based Planning team. The successful Town Planner will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects within the residential, affordable housing, commercial and tourism sectors. Skills & Experience Required: Must be working towards becoming a Chartered Member of the RTPI Planning experience in the private sector is advanteagous however local authority experience will also be considered A full driving licence is requiredDuties: Managing concurrently running projects Preparing site appraisals and development plan representations Submitting planning applications and appeals Liaising with clients and local authorities Mentoring junior members of the teamIn return the company are offering a friendly and supportive working environment, competitive starting salary and benefits package and excellent career progression opportunities.
