Forward-thinking and innovative utilities contractor, specialising in civil engineering works for multi-utility projects in London, requires an Estimator with a background in utilities to join their ever-growing team. Responsibilities: Produce estimates and tender submissions as part of the project bidding process Provide cost estimates through the analysis of plant, resources and labour required to successfully complete projects Client liaison Issue enquiries for subcontractors and supplies Measurements for Bills of Quantities Prepare reports The Person: Experience as an Estimator within the HV / high voltage / power distribution, water, gas, or multi-utilities industries Strong communicator, who is comfortable working under pressure, with strong analytical and report writing skills Strong working knowledge of Standards Methods of Measurement, such as CESSM, supply chain management and commercial contracts This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive organisation with ambitious plans to grow.
