Reports to: Directors

40 hours per week (Monday-Friday 8.30 – 17.30)

To be successful in this role you will need to be experienced in Fire and Security industry. To install and maintain a wide variety of security and integrated fire systems in residential and commercial properties. CCTV, Access Control and Gates experience is desirable.


Duties and Responsibilities

By the nature of the responsibility, the following list is not exhaustive, but is a guideline as to the main requirements of the role.

The following duties are to be undertaken:

  • Attending customer sites according to scheduled appointments.
  • To work with and install a varied amount of intruder alarms, fire alarm systems, emergency lights, CCTV, access control, intercom systems, gates, barriers & bollards
  • Providing detailed onsite analysis of actual and potential system issues and communicating these clearly to the customer as required.
  • Proposing and explaining work undertaken and identify requirements for additional works to the customer.
  • Identifying opportunities for system additions in line with customer requirements.
  • Ensuring that the customer is happy with the work undertaken and that the site is left in a clean and tidy state.
  • You must maintain a good reputation on behalf of Executive Alarms at all times.

 

Qualifications and skills

  • Minimum 3 years working in the security industry.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to work out of normal hours if necessary.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Able to competently trouble shoot all types of system.
  • Able to think on your feet and to remain calm under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of the British Standards
