Site Manager – Groundwork & Civils £45,000 - £55,000 Derby A fantastic opportunity is available to join a UK leading groundwork, civils and demolitions company based out of Derby. Due to an increase in workload and the work lined up for 2025, they have identified the need for an experienced Groundworks & Civils Site Manager to join them on a full-time permanent basis. The work will mainly be across the Midlands, but they can work nationwide. This is an urgent requirement, and we are looking for someone who can start immediately and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality projects. The Duties Manage daily site operations, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project milestones. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all sites. Oversee schedules, budgets, and workforce allocations for multiple projects. Conduct regular quality control inspections and address any issues promptly. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and on-site teams. Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager in groundworks and civil engineering. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is essential. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and prioritise tasks under pressure. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Midlands
